Family Reunion!!! part 1

For the past week we spent time at a family reunion in island park. It was for Ry's step dads side of the family and it was a BLAST. We enjoyed time with our parents, siblings and a lot of uncles and aunts who we haven't gotten to see for so long! 

The first day that we arrived was pretty low key we just hung out and spent the day being lazy. The second day we decided to get off our lazy bums and go for a nice hike along the river!!!

It was such a nice break from working so much to just relax and spend time with people we love and don't get to see as much as we would like!!!

Our 4th of July started out like this......

with a little dancing in the streets before the parade....

We had a little barbecue with the family, and walked around the river eating even more food!!!!

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays! We get to see all of our families and its a day full of fun and food :) Its also a day free of work and stress for us!! We had a blast!! We love where we live and all of the luxuries that we have, and are so grateful for all of the brave people who fight for our freedom!!!!!

The funny thing about having a blog is that when i go for periods of time without blogging people thing that something is wrong, but that is NOT the case for us. We are doing awesome just really busy and when we actually see each other in our busy lives we spend it doing fun stuff.  This morning we decided to go mt biking for a little bit and it was a blast! We took our puppy and enjoyed a beautiful day together!
