Softball for life

Every night of our week is basically spent at the park!

Ryan plays on a softball team with a bunch of his old baseball friends from high school two nights a week. They are pretty much a bunch of hot shots ha ha ;)! They are pretty good and they have managed (for the most part) to stay out of any fights.  There team does something so funny when you get the 3rd out of the inning! You get to wear a special hat! Last year it was a princess hat, but this year it is a HOT DOG hat! :) It is pretty funny to watch! Since i never played softball in high school i had to learn all the rules and its been really fun! We are going to play on a co-ed team in August with all of our married friends and I'm pretty excited! :) 

The other two nights during the week Ry usually umpires mens league softball! It gets pretty intense and at times I get a little worried for his safety! You wouldn't believe the amount of people who get so into the game that they throw tantrums and swear so much over one stupid call. Ry actually had to eject a 60 year old man the other night because he was swearing so much and starting fights with every player from the other team!

Since summer finally decided to show up, we had to flip on our A/C. Much to our surprise it decided not to work! For the Past 3 days its been hotter in the upstairs in our house than outside! We spent all day yesterday hiding out in our basement. Our room is upstairs and was basically a sauna so we decided that we would lay our on the grass untill it finally cooled down in our house!!! We spent about 2 hours semi sleeping and stargazing in our yard before we finally went into the house of course it haadn't cooled down much.

Hopefully the repair guy comes today! :)

cabin fever!

This weekend for Ryan's birthday we decided we would spend the weekend at his parents cabin in Island Park!! Friday after work we left on our adventure! We stopped and ate at big jud's in Ashton just for fun!! We spent the night watching movies and eating lots and lots of junk food! 

Saturday we planned to go out on a long mountain bike ride along the river and up into the mountains!

After about hmmm 20 min Ry stopped and as i pulled up to him he said " look at my tire" of course it was flat! He has had terrible luck with tires ever since he got this new bike! This is probably the 10th flat tire this year!!!! But we didn't let that ruin our day! We took our time walking back to the cabin and just enjoyed the first hot day this summer! :) 

Pardon my pasty face, its been awhile since ive seen the sun obviously, and my goggle tan wore off quite awhile ago!! 

That night we built a fire and had some hot dogs and smores! :) And we watched about 5 more movies!!! 

Sunday was Ryan's birthday so I decided I would be a good wifey and make him breakfast!! So I made all of his favorites!! :) 

Here is my happy man on his birthday!! I know he might look grumpy but he wasn't! Also this is probably my most hated shirt that he owns! Don't ask me why he wears it! Probably because he thinks its hilarious, i always say " can you please wear something else"!! 

Ry's birthday also marked our 4 month milestone and I couldnt be happier! I love being married to him. We have the best adventures and spend about 90 percent of the time laughing! The only problem that we have is that ryan is a staunch lakers fan and im a celtics fan to the bitter end! Other than that I'm happy to report that we are more in love now than we've ever been!

Its my main man's birthday this weekend and we are headed to island park for!! :) maybe now ill have something to blog about! :) :) 

little johnnie

Announcing the birth of our new colt "johnnie".  Yesterday our baby mamma Honey had her colt! It was quite and exciting day for our family! We get a little to excited about the birth of our animals! We practically spent the whole day our playing with him! :)

We are hoping that he would be the color of his mom, or a buckskin but he is a weird grey color. It will change over the next few weeks so we will see what he decides to be!:)
